Baby Ben

Benjamin's favorite place to sleep is in someone's arms, but sometimes we can get him to sleep for awhile in his swing......if he's asleep when we put him in and if we keep our fingers crossed ;>)

Our little "mummy" ! Dad is big on the swaddling thing ! He's a pro at it too; Mom can't begin to do this !

Benjamin can get the most worried expressions on his face, especially if we don't get him ASAP when he starts to cry---it's like he's wondering whether he can trust these people he's been sent to live with !

I suppose they don't count as "real" smiles, but he has lots of sleep grins. It's so sweet---we just find ourselves staring at him to see them----I guess we're in love ;>)

The nursery nurses described him as a "self-soother" because he would keep his thumb in his mouth with his other fingers covering his face; this probably won't last----it seems to have lessened in frequency (too bad ;>) already

Samuel's first visit with baby brother; Samuel was very interested for the first 15-20 minutes and then got bored and went to play with his cars !
