Fair Play

Samuel got his first taste of the fair recently, when we took him to the Wilson County Fair. (Of course, he missed the REAL tastes of the fair.......funnel cakes, cotton candy, roasted corn, and all the other good stuff. He was so-so on cotton candy and seemed to only like the powdered sugar off the funnel cake. I'm SURE he'll come around when he's a little older !)

Unfortunately, he didn't meet the height requirements for most of the kiddie rides, but did enjoy the carousel with Dad. There was still lots of fun stuff to watch though.

Silly rabbit......we even saw some rabbits that probably weighed more than Samuel did !

Mom's family came to visit for a couple of days week before last, so we drove one afternoon to the aquarium and Imax in Chattanooga. It was a lot of fun for everyone. Samuel seemed to enjoy the sights and company, and he loved Fun Mommy (or is that Bad Mommy ?) when, if no crowds were around, she would release him in his stroller to fly down the ramps between exhibits. He never crashed and there was always someone waiting to catch him on the other end !

Mom's friend-since-6th-grade, Michell, came from Alabama to spend the day with us Friday. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit !
